Update 9/3/21: The race is off but the fundraiser is on! Read below for more details as we are putting together both a raffle (Sept 11 – 20) and in store promotion to help support the St. John’s Health Foundation’s Cancer Patient Support Fund.

Update 9/28/21: Together we raised over $13k for the St. John’s Health Foundation’s Cancer Patient Support Fund through the 2021 Run and Ride for the Cure! Thank you Jackson Hole for joining us in supporting this worthy cause!

The Run and Ride for the Cure has been a local running and biking race in Jackson Hole for over 20 years put on by Skinny Skis benefitting the Cancer Patient Support Fund at the St. John’s Health Foundation. Considering the high rate of transmission of COVID-19 in our community and the increase in the COVID-19 risk level from Orange (Moderate) to Red (High), we have called off the race for 2021.

However, St. John’s Health Foundation, Skinny Skis, and several local businesses have banded together to donate an excellent assortment of prizes for a raffle (September 11-20) with all proceeds benefitting the Cancer Patient Support Fund at the St. John’s Health Foundation. Additionally from September 16-19 Skinny Skis will be donating a portion of the store’s sales to the St. Johns Health Foundation.

The Cancer Patient Support Fund supplies resources to local cancer patients receiving care at St. John’s Health who need help with transportation, lodging, and discretionary support. Over the years the race has raised tens of thousands of dollars to support this fund and our goal is to help fill that gap with this raffle and promotion in the absence of the race this year.

Please join is in supporting this great cause by purchasing raffle tickets for a chance to win some great prizes and shop at Skinny Skis from September 16-19 where we will be donating a portion of the days proceeds. All prizes have been donated by the wonderful local businesses and 100% of the proceeds from the raffle are going directly to the Cancer Patient Support Fund.
