Summers not over yet – Last minute car camping in Jackson, WY

posted in: Blog 357

Just as it always does, the summer has seemed to come and go… But not so fast, before you get excited about the eminent snow fall and colder weather lets stop and enjoy a few more weeks of flip-flops, sleeping under the stars and outdoor adventure with bare shoulders.

Our favorite way to get out, even if its a mid-week evening escape? Car camping of course. With Curtis Canyon, Shadow Mountain and Phillips Ridge less than 30 minutes from town square, it’s almost easier to head for the hills for an evening than to your door step.

The best part of car camping? It’s just as “cush” as a night at home but you get to breath fresh mountain air, cook with Teton sunset views, snuggle into some down and wake up to a beautiful sunrise. What’s not to love?

Here is a quick once over of our favorite essentials for a quick car camping session in the Jackson area.
