Introducing the Mach from Hoka’s FLY Collection*.
The Hoka Mach is a great choice for a one-quiver road shoe; from short & fast runs to mega-distance the Mach will support your road-running endeavors. A mesh knit upper and responsive high cushion midsole provide a great balance of comfort, performance, and impact protection.
Like all Hoka footwear, signature significant cushioning is what really sets this shoe apart. The Profly midsole is at the heart of the Mach, which provides a significant amount of protection without sacrificing performance. This combination allows the Mach to go from everyday training shoe to an “any distance” racing shoe.
The mesh/knit upper is great for keeping your feet cool on the warmest days and has just enough stretch to allow for natural toe splay. Unlike other shoes with mesh/knit uppers the Hoka Mach maintains a supportive structure keeping your foot secure within the shoe.
At just 8oz the Mach is as light or lighter than shoes with minimal cushioning – which is quite surprising given the stack height of 19mm in the forefoot and 24mm under the heel.
I’ve been running in the Mach’s for two months and couldn’t be happier with the shoes comfort and performance. I’ve found is that the Mach (and Spreedgoat 2 trail shoe) have allowed me to continue training while recovering from minor foot injuries. Something I can’t say for all shoes!
